Teaching Children with Disabilities to Play Basketball at Thuy An Youth Village

During a volunteer trip with the Greenwave club to the Thuy An Youth Village, I had the opportunity to interact with and uplift the spirits of children with disabilities. We organized a Children's Day event and distributed nearly 50 potted plants and gift packages to children with hearing and visual impairments at the Thuy An Disability Rehabilitation Center in Ba Vi.

What surprised me was the children's immense enthusiasm for playing basketball. Contrary to my expectations, they thoroughly enjoyed it and even urged me to join in. They were so engrossed in the game that they continued playing until the supervising teacher requested a break for lunch.
